Description

Here it is - the holy grail of Beefheart LP's. An original MONO pressing of the "Safe As Milk" LP in very good + condition overall.

The sleeve is a bit discolored but has held up well over the years. No splits. There is a stain in the upper left by the Buddah logo. On the back there is a barely legible signature near the song titles. You can't even see it in the picture. The inner sleeve is intact except for the usual small splits along the edge and a small tear at the top of one side (also not visible in picture). The bumper sticker is in perfect condition!

The record itself is in very good ++ condition. The vinyl is nice and shiny, and the labels are clean. There are a few light scuff marks that do not affect play at all. I made a CD of this record for my collection, and the sound quality is outstanding...rarely a pop or click in sight. I am shocked at how well this LP has held up, considering the poor quality of later, stereo pressings. Not bad for a 37 year old record!

A great copy overall, considering the rarity.
