A collector's dream! Up for sale is a super rare US mono first pressing of Captain Beefheart's epic debut album, released by Buddha in 1968! Catalogue no. BDM 1001.
Even original stereo copies of "Safe As Milk" are hard to come by nowadays, but the monos hardly ever show up. In my humble opinion, this is one of the greatest and most creative albums from the late 60's, a timeless classic for sure.
The vinyl is in excellent to near mint condition, the sound is incredible, especially when played with a true mono catridge. MONO is the way this album should be listened to, five times better than its stereo equivalent.

The record will be packaged in a protective professional record mailer made of strong cardboard. I'll take extra-care of the corners, and of course, I won't leave the record inside the cover. Then I will put the record mailer box into another box and stuff the spaces inside with bubble wrap. You will receive what you see here, it will arrive in the same condition as it was in when I sent it.
