CAPTAIN BEEFHEART AND HIS MAGIC BAND - "Safe As Milk"
(Buddah 1001) Original 1967 US first press MONO Promo

Visually graded condition of disc: Side One: VG++ (has a handful of small scuffs but no serious scratches - scuffs should not affect play much) Side Two: Near Mint minus to VG++ (has a few faint marks and a bit nicer than side one)
Was played maybe three or four times at the very most.
VERY RARE MONO VERSION
Condition of Sleeve: Experienced collectors and sellers will easily tell you that Buddah outer sleeves are some of the worst. Not sure why, it's just a fact. This copy had some slack along the top edge when it was printed. After nearly 50 years, some breaks have occurred in that slack. They really aren't 'splits' even though they look like that in the photo. There's are two scratches in the center photo. There's also a tiny tear spot in top left corner where a sticker was removed. Discoloration on bottom edge after 50 years on both sides. Backside looks pretty good.
This was Buddah's very first LP release.

MY GRADING SCALE
(very similar to the Goldmine standard)
NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me). There should be no audible distractions.
M-/NM- (Near Mint minus): A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides that may be heard.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play fine.
