Description
This is a nm/vg condition album, a 197x release on the American Straight label by iconoclastic performer Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band, the legendary "Trout Mask Replica." 28 tracks of his bizarre musings on tunes like "Ella Guru," "Orange Claw Hammer," and "Dali's Car." Cover in near mint shape- only slight ring near top front- no cuts, supernice gatefold. Vinyl in near mint shape- a couple of scuffs on sides 3 and 4. White label promo. Comes with rare lyric shee- three page foldover of Don Van Vliet's artwork and hand-written lyrics that (I believe) only came with promotional copies. Lyric sheet in good/very good shape- a little worn and yellowed, while some clod circled a few lines in pencil (as if to highlight some of the Captain's insight for a literature class). Sold more for rarity rather than condition. Currently, I am without a turntable, so all albums are diligently sight graded. However, all are guaranteed- my only negative feedback from a deadbeat who chose not to seek this guarantee. Domestic buyer to pay $3.00 for media mail shipping.
