Artist: Caravan.
Title: ''Caravan'' Side 1.- Place of My Own (4.01), Ride (3.42), Policeman (2.44), Love Song with Flute (4.10), Cecil Rons (4.07). Side 2.- Magic Man (4.03), Grandma's Lawn (3.25), Where but for Caravan would I (9.01).
Label: - U.K. Verve (mono). VLP 6011. Matrix- VLP 6011 A.1/VLP 6011 B. Date 1969. In original ''Pillar'' sleeve.
Grading: = M- / M- This record appears to be totally unplayed.The sleeve is ''shop fresh'', there are no tears or splits, or feathering, in fact the cover is very close to new. The vinyl is also in exactly the same condition. There is no spindle wear at all. The vinyl is like new. Only under a very strong light can some light hairlines be seen on side 2, but that is just ''nit picking'', this really is an absolute gem of the rare mono issue, and I believe that no better copy has ever been offered for sale on Ebay. You will never need to upgrade this copy (you will not find a better one, anyway). This rare record is from my own personal collection, and has remained unplayed for the last 40 years.
Grading System:
Based on Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2010:
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ or creasing.
Very Good:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
