Cargo-“Simple Things”, Ringside, RS104, 1969.
Rare Canadian-only independent label psych-rock/jazz LP with deep moods, lysergic guitar, and heavy beats. Nice to see this unsung LP finally catching on w/ international psych collectors and beat heads. Far superior in feel to their Trend Records debut, they don’t come much better than this. “Initial Mailing,” “Geordy,” “Rural Route 1,” and the 7:15 “Pachyderm (In Your Head)” are all serious tracks. Ultimate recommendation.
