Carl Perkins - Introducing...

Dooto DL 211

  • Circa 1957 black vinyl pressing (first pressings came on red vinyl) with 'Dooto' label variation, pressed soon after the change of label name from Dootone in early 1957 but before the change from maroon/silver to yellow/blue labels later in 1957. The cover still has the old Dootone logo. Super-thick vinyl and deep groove both sides.
  • LINE UP: Carl Perkins (p) Leroy Vinnegar (b) Lawrence Marable (d) Los Angeles, 1955.

Record Condition: EX  Looks barely played. Very clean with a few surface scuffs only. Plays with the typical Dootone pressing 'hiss' always in the background, but this is not too distracting and the music still comes through loud and clear.

Cover Condition: VG  Top  and bottom seams have splits and have been taped up. Sticker tear on the front.
