Description

Dootone Records. This issue is part of the Dootone Modern Jazz Series. Dark red and silver label, deep groove. Pianist Carl Perkins is accompanied by Leroy Vinnegar, bass; Lawrence Marable, drums. 11 tracks. Tunes include standards and originals. Very Rare Edition.

Cover: VG(-) Aging scotch tape along the the entire top and bottom edges. Name of previous owner is written in very small script at the bottom of the back cover. Minor scuff marks on the front cover. Light aging on the front and back cover and some general light wear.

Record: VG+ or Better Visually shows moderate wear with a large number of surface rub marks on both sides. Played numerous times. In spite of the significant indications of ordinary wear, there is very little surface noise. There are a very few clicks and these are light also a small amount of light surface noise. Most tracks play with no noise. Overall fine sound with only the limited noise described. Audibly checked.
