Carlos Pizarro: Nacio el 9 de abril de 1921 en Santurce Puerto Rico y falleció en julio de 2000 en el Bronx, NYC. Considerado una de las figuras más representativas de ambiente artístico hispano de Nueva York entre las décadas de los 1950 a 1960, Carlos Pizarro sobresalió, muy especialmente, como exponente del bolero. Pero, su repertorio abarcó la mayoría de los ritmos antillanos: merengue, guaracha y pachanga, entre otros.
