CAROL OF HARVEST 's/t' LP (Spain, Guerssen, Catalogue #GUESS 037/GUPEN 018) Brand new/unplayed copy of long SOLD OUT/OUT OF PRINT superb year 2007 Guerssen label limited LP edition (first Guerssen edition of 700 copies) of top progressive folk rock album by German band Carol Of Harvest. Originally released as a private-pressing album by the band in 1978 in an edition of only 200 copies. Astonishing progressive folk with some truly remarkable and unusual use of Moog synthesizer/electronic sound in the mix. Includes insert with liner notes and photos.

'Germany, 1978. Absolute early '70s-sounding progressive and psychedelic folk-rock masterpiece of the first order. Entirely sung in English by an incredibly young female vocalist, Beate Krause, only 16 years-old! Long tracks with excellent, killer acid guitar solos, and Moog. If you like groups like Mellow Candle or Pentangle, there's no doubt you need to purchase this one fast. Often praised as "the best prog-folk record ever," this is an absolute classic of the genre. Besides that, the original label only pressed 200 copies of the LP, so imagine how hard it is to find this now. So here you have a new vinyl reissue of this wonderful record, licensed by the band, with killer, remastered sound and an insert with photos and liner notes in a limited edition of 700 copies.'
