Description

Making space for some new records.......I’m auctioning a great group of Funk, Jazz, Modern Soul, Soul, and more!  Make sure to take a look at my other records and save.

Artist: Caroline Peyton
Title:  S/T
Label: Bar BQ  (Private Label, 1977)
Condition: Cover VG+ (minor shelf wear); Record VG+ to VG++ (very minor surface marks)

This album is reviewed favorably on page 256 of “The Acid Archives Second Edition” by Patrick Lundborg. Patrick writes, “Peyton’s second album is a vast improvement, with a full band, a remake of an excellent Screaming Gypsy Bandits song, some dreamy folk-pop, and cover photos that show her to be the cutest hippie in history. A few songs veer towards funk and disco, in a reasonably convincing way. It’s clear that her heart is in some sort of sell-out attempt (she’d succeed many years later, becoming a voice in many Disney films, and releasing a Celtic Christmas album), but still this is a decent record with likeable moments for both folk and funk fans”.

Original pressing, unless specified!!!

I do combine shipping. Payment due 3 days after auction ends. Paypal only.
Italy customers must pay an additional $11.50 for registered mail.

Unless noted, Records are visually graded for accuracy.

M: Vinyl or jacket is absolutely flawless (I rarely use this grade).
NM-: Vinyl is almost unplayed.  Jacket shows very very minor wear.
VG++: Vinyl contains only a few very slight imperfections, likely only noticeable under direct light. jacket is nearly flawless and contains only very minor wear.
VG+: Vinyl will have a small amount of scuffs and scratches, but they are not deep and will have a minimal impact on sound (very little or no surface noise unless otherwise noted). Jacket will be intact and in very acceptable shape. However, it may show light ringwear, minor edge / corner wear, and / or a minor seam split (less than two inches).
VG: Vinyl will be visibly used, but likely only under direct light - will play well with a tolerable amount of surface noise (unless noted).  Jacket will contain more defined wear in terms of ring, edge and corner wear.
VG-: Vinyl has not been properly cared for and will contain many scuffs and scratches and play with surface noise.  Jacket many contain minor water / mold damage as well as very defined seam, edge and ring wear.

G or below: Vinyl has not been properly cared for and contains surface marks, scratches that greatly affects the play of the record. This record will only be a play copy.  Jacket is almost useless.  This is the lowest grading that I will use.
