Cat Power's first Covers Record, before the kind of disappointing "Jukebox" thing that came out last year, was a deeply moving and beautiful collection of sincere homages to some of her favorite influences. Released in 2000, it was an amazing companion piece to her marvelous "Moon Pix" LP, which many people felt was her strongest moment. This record holds up so well today, with re-workings in a sad, slow and gorgeous Cat Power style of classic songs by Bob Dylan, The Velvet Underground, Smog, The Rolling Stones and many more. Totally essential. The vinyl for this record is also completely out of print and impossible to find these days. This record has gone for some decent money lately, but I've set no reserve. The sleeve and vinyl fall just short of near mint condition. The vinyl has just a very few barely perceptible marks that cannot be felt and do not effect play, and the record has been stored with care since I bought it. Overall, the record is in amazing shape.

Domestic shipping via Priority Mail is $8.00. This usually takes 2-3 days. If you wanted Media Mail instead, it would be $5.00 and take a little longer. International Air Mail shipping would be $15.00 for and generally takes 4-7 days. The record will be packed carefully in a sturdy cardboard mailer, created just for the purpose of sending records undamaged through the mail. If you had any other shipping concerns, delivery confirmation, insurance, etc. I could work with that, too, but I cannot insure international shipping at all. Too risky and no real way to track it. Sorry guys. I will for sure ship anywhere in the world, but I can't be held responsible if the mail loses it or delays it.
