Very good (VG) condition vinyl - there are some wispy hairlines and fine scuff marks on each side, more noticeable when viewed closely under a bright light, mostly superficial but there are a few small hairlines which are just (and only just) feelable, resulting in some light clicks (further details below) but nothing nasty and certainly no sticks, jumps, repeats, or skips. Each label is excellent with the only blemishes being some small and very faint spindle lines adjacent to the centre hole on each and the iconic large Vertigo Swirl logo and black text remain in excellent order. A solid very good (VG) condition original non-laminated Howards Printers UK outer gatefold sleeve. Each edge remains firm with some occasional and very light scuffing on the top and bottom edges and also on the corners, which do nonetheless remain well defined right angles. The spine is firm with all spine text intact and there are x5 very light and non-obvious surface creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine on the front side. The inside of the gatefold is excellent with the only marks being a few very small black spots towards the bottom edges. The only real blemish of note is an unmissable area of scuffing on the front side (see photo) where presumably an old sticker or label has been carelessly removed, annoying but what's done is done! There is no unwanted writing, no seam splits, no cardboard creasing, and all colours, art work, photos and text remain nicely intact. Again, a solid very good (VG) STEREO audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, nasty clicks, interference or distortion and any background crackle is very occasional and very background. There are a number of light clicks, however, with x12 light clicks about 2/3 of the way through A1 followed by a further x6 light clicks towards the end of A1 (still a great track to listen to, by the way); there is some intermittent light clicking during the first half of A3, and on side 2 there is some occasional and sporadic light clicking - about x20 light clicks in total though there are long passages with no clicking at all. I should stress that these clicks are background and very low level and every track still remains eminently listenable ("Naked Death" is a classic in my opinion). Comes with great condition original poly-lined Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve, correctly dated with no seam splits, barely any creasing, and just the hint of some very mild age discolouration towards the edges.
Clearly some blemishes but still desirable, still collectable, still presentable and certainly still very listenable. One of the hardest UK Vertigo swirls to get hold of.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
