Way back in 1998 Kerri Chandler and Jerome Sydenham joined forces to remix The System's New York electro classic "You're In My System", placing the band's distinctive vocals above fresh rolling deep house beats, chords and melodies. Some 21 years on, Dennis Quin has delivered new takes on their version, making use of fresh vocals by Troy Denari. His dulcet tones can be heard on the superb A-side "Club Mix", which also makes use of Chandler and Sydenham's 90s-style NYC synthesized horn solos, as well as the arguably even better flipside "Vocal Mix" (B1), which includes a superb sing-along breakdown. The other killer cut is the EP-closing "Atmospheric Dubmix", which offers a tough and groovy take on Chandler and Sydenham's superb backing track.
