Artist:  CHARLES MINGUS

                                     

Title:   “Blues & Roots”

 

Label:   ATLANTIC.  Stereo pressing on medium thick vinyl, with deep groove.  Label is white with green and blue bullseye design.  Catalog number is SD 1305.

 

Year:  1959.

Condition: 

 

DISC:  Vinyl is beautiful NM- with full original gloss.  Has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  There are a couple slight hairline paper scuffs but no serious or audible marks or problems.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean.  This hard-to-find LP is one that you will never need to upgrade. 

 

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG+ .  Front artwork is clean and bright, except some light spotting along left edge.  Top right corner is noticeably bumped.  Nice seams and spine.  Reverse has darkened slightly with age and has some slight staining along the spine edge.  No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other issues.  Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
