COVER: M-. Laminated gatedold cover is solid and NEAR MINT. PROMO dj/mono sticker on front.
VINYL: VG++/VG++. ALL vinyls are super shiny and very clean, bit of light scuffing across side 1, small paper scuff on side 3.
LABEL CONDITION: ALL Atlantic white PROMO labels are perfect!!!

COMMENTS: US original WHITE LABEL PROMO 2 album set. 8 songs, of which 4 were recorded in 1966 with Chick, Joe Farrell, Woody Shaw, Steve Swallow and Joe Chambers. These 4 songs were released on Chick's album, Tones For Joan's Bones. 2 songs recorded in 1968 with Chick, Hubert Laws, Ron Carter and Grady Tate. They were released on the Hubert Laws LP, Laws Cause. In mono, VERY RARE!!

PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's. AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!!
ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier and 2 original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!
I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!! FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
