Description
From 1968, out of San Jose,California, comes The Chocolate Watch Band with their LP The Inner Mystique on Tower ST5106. This is their second LP and their rarest! It is also their best (in my book). It's very spacey with a mystical element to it. I like their song In The Past which is an interesting song, as We The People (another psych group from Florida) did it originally. There is also an interesting cover version of The Baroques classic I Ain't No Miracle Worker.This album has an excellent cover version of The Kinks song I'm Not Like Everybody Else. Great front cover art with a woman wearing a skull cap, angels, ink blots, etc.Interesting rear cover where over 700 people are named as being part of the album's dedication.
Small paper loss at lower right bottom seam at seam opening, small nick to bottom seam,high spot rubs and dirt.
Cover is better than VG+ but not VG++, record has light spindle mark and is VG++!!
