Chris (Long) - Chansons bizarres pour gens étranges - Phillips 1966 P 70.353 L
Rare French Folksinger. You can't find someone closer to Dylan in France. Chris Long sings of girls, society, the clash of generations, dope, etc. Nice voice & guitar playing, plus not only he his a folky guy, but he is also backed on some songs by a true garage band, w/ fuzz guitar, bass, drums. He rocks! If you like Bringing it all back home & Highway 61 Revisited, you're gonna like this. Cover of She belongs to me included... in French!
COVER : VG+ (Edges & corners wear, writtings at the back, no split )
RECORD : VG (I normally wouldn't sell items in that shape, but it's a rare one. Also, please note that this is a mono record : it sounds way better that it looks. Surface noise, small pops here & there, hairlines, groove wear, but no deep scratches or skips. Pleasant listening.)
Gradings I use : M/SS NM EX VG+ VG G P
Please note that I am conservative with the gradings. I'll never grade Mint unless it's still sealed or has been open & played once ; NM if I know for sure it hasn't been played much & with extreme care.
