CLASSIC RECORDS 10xLPs Box: RCA LIVING STEREO BRIT-BOX EDITION No. 221. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
This box was purchased new by me when it was issued. As I recall, we had to win a lottery to have the honor of purchasing it!
CONDITION: These records were played only on an Acoustic Research ES-1 Turnable with a Shure V-15 type V MR cartridge (one of the lowest tracking weight cartridges ever designed). Each record in it was played only by me. In all these years they were only played a handful of times at the most. They still play as quietly as when they were new and have been cared for and stored lovingly. Each disc is still in its original Mylar bag.
All discs were cleaned on a VPI 16.5.
Much has been said and written about this box over the years! There are other copies for sale at very high prices. This one goes to the highest bidder. Someone should enjoy this set! It will be boxed up and shipped at the local fedex store and sent the least expensive way they offer. The last one cost exactly $40 to pack and ship domestically.
This is a wonderful souvenir of the very beginning of the vinyl revival. Bernie Grundman mastered each of these, and the boxes issued were the first run off of the 1S stampers.
International shipping will by by FedEx, but they don't offer that as a choice.
