Super clean play vintage prewar hot hillbilly fiddle & string band 78 RPM by Clayton McMichen and His Georgia Wildcats titled Hog Trough Reel b/w Arkansas Traveler. Both are country instrumentals with calls, so get out on the floor and do some old timey clog and buckdance. Issued on Gennett Records 7011. Very clean copy has no scratches, still has some groove luster and plays a quiet and clean near mint. Label is near mint with no spindle scuffs. Record is hand cleaned and in heavy stock storage sleeve.

I do not skimp on packaging when shipping 78's. All records are professionally packaged and shipped in heavy duty cardboard sturdy boxes. 78's require great care and special packaging to prevent breakage. Thank you.

RECORD GRADING FOR 78's
Bargain lot items are visually graded. Individual auction records are play graded. I place emphasis on play grade, maintain the highest professional standards, do spot check play grading on all individual auction items and always provide an accurate visual grade and label appearance. I play grade on a quality system with a high end cartridge in order to maintain a strict and undisguised play grade. I always keep my grading simple and fair and will not subject my customers to a proliferation of meaningless grades. If a record plays between two grades I always apply the lesser grade, I don't create a grade in an attempt to articulate a borderline evaluation.

NEAR MINT - EXCELLENT (nm) Showing only slight wear. Playing surfaces still retain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal. No major imperfections. Grooves may have minor scuffs. A very playable and acceptable copy.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) Very clean play copy that may have scuffs, light scratches and minor surface wear with little to no audible extraneous noise. A very playable and acceptable copy.

GOOD (G) Somewhat more worn and mishandled copy with audible extraneous surface noise. Grooves may have visual scuffs and scratches and at times a slight grayness, especially appearing in the louder passages, random marks and light abrasions from sleeveless existence. Still a very playable copy, expect some extraneous noise.

POOR (P) I rarely list poor condition 78's, but at times will if it is a rare item. Poor 78's will generally have a below 50/50 ratio of surface noise over music and may have cracks, deep scratches, digs, edge chips and flake, flutter or warp factor and are sold as is. Surface noise is prominent and can be enough to impair or overwhelm music. Poor graded 78's are sold as is.
