Long-time music loving vinyl/memorabilia hound here. Grading is very strict & satisfaction is guaranteed, bid/buy with confidence. All non-sealed vinyl has been cleaned, all records are graded both aurally and visually. I use NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (my highest grade)/EX/VG, w/ +/- variables. Yes, I combine shipping. No excessive shipping or 'handling' charges - buyer will pay approximately what the USPS charges me for shipping, give or take a bit. If I overcharge you excessively for shipping, you will be reimbursed the overage. All U.S. packages are shipped via media mail, unless buyer requests otherwise.

The Buddy Holly Story LP - BUDDY HOLLY And THE CRICKETS (Coral CRL 57279)
Original 1959 U.S. MONO LP. Like 'The Chirping Crickets' LP, maroon DG Coral label 'The Buddy Holly Story' albums are almost always found in far less than ideal condition. Well, here's a FAR better example of this seminal disc than is normally offered, disc & cover both. And it is certainly a 'must have' for any/all rock & roll collections, ain't no doubt whatsoever.
Disc = EX (GLOSSY - some lite hairlines, but not an abundance of them; a disc that was played but handled w/ utmost care by the previous owner; sounds VERY FINE, w/ only the most minimal of lite background noise; a SOLID listen)
Cover = see pix; small diagonal crack in front lower right corner; a couple of very tiny chips + faint stain on front (below CRL 57279 - see pic), probably from where the original price sticker was removed; lite diagonal crack near front lower left corner; tiny brown spot along bottom edge on front; tiny chip in top left corner on upper seam; small crack & the start of a seam split (1/4" approx) in right corner of bottom seam; a couple of tiny cracks + some lite curling on spine; these numerous flaws are all quite minor - this is a VERY, VERY NICE looking cover; any questions?, please ask
