Description

CMU : Open Spaces.

ORIGINAL UK STEREO vinyl album.  From 1971 on TRANSATLANTIC Records TRA 237. Matrix #s A 1 U/B 1 U.

Grading: I try to grade conservatively and I don't grade anything as mint unless it's sealed. All faults will be described.

Cover: VG+/EX-. Please see pictures. Gatefold sleeve - minor edge wear & some small creases in laminate. The tape holding the inner gimmick supposed vinyl cleaning plastic sleeve has discoloured over time. Previous owner's name top left inside.

Record: VG ish. And you know why it's VG................ This copy suffers - as most do - with burn caused by the inner sleeve. The first 30/40 or so seconds of track one side one - Henry - are affected. There is also some burn on side 2 but it avoid the playing area. There is a small hairline that causes some clicking on track 3. There are a few other marks but nothing affecting playback plus the usual paper scuffs & hairlines associated with housing & rehousing. On top of that it's a very noisy/crackly pressing - certainly not one for audiophiles. Previous owner's name on label side 2. Would possibly benefit from a deep clean but I'll leave that to the new owner.
