Description
I have up for auction a great Album Set of 4 records (78s) on the red Columbia label. It is Set C-181 by The Modernaires, wonderful Vocal group from the 40s and it is entitled "Tributes In Tempo"; songs dedicated to various orchestras and artists. Records include:
1. #38400, "Salute To Glenn Miller"-medley of four and "Lamplight" (Hal Kemp).
2. #38401, "Stardust" (Jack Jenny) and "Rock It For Me" (Chick Webb).
3. #38402, "It's A Lonesome Old Town" (Ben Bernie) and "You Call It Madness" (Russ Columbo).
4. #38403, "Margie" (Jimmie Lunceford) And "Ain't Misbehavin" ("Fats" Waller).
The Set is from new old stock. The records are in excellent to E+ condition, look almost brand new. No wear and scuffs or scratches are very few (if any), light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean! Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well.
