John Lennon & Yoko Ono---"Wedding Album"---Rare Boxed Set Complete---Original UK 1st Pressed Stereo In EX Playing Condition On The Apple Label---A1 & B1 From 1969---With Bag And All Other Components.
This is a 100% complete UK manufactured boxed set designed by John Kosh. It was produced in very small quantities in 1969 and did not sell well.
The set comprises the following genuine and original items:
Vinyl has some light hairlines but is still in EX playing condition is on the dark green Apple label (SAPCOR 11), which is housed in a Garrod & Lofthouse, outer laminated, inner flipback gatefold sleeve. This sleeve is in EX condition with a few small creases to the laminate and slight discolouration to the white front.
Matrix numbers are SAPCOR 11A-1 & SAPCOR 11B-1 with stamper numbers 1/A & 1/O.
'The Press' booklet shows John and Yoko press cuttings. This is in MINT condition.
'The Wedding' double sided photo poster. This is in MINT condition.
John and Yoko drawn double sided poster. There are 3" splits in the top of the 2 folds and the front is rippled from being under the 'Bagism' plastic bag.
Wedding Cake Picture in MINT condition.
'Bagism' white vinyl bag is in MINT condition.
Photo strip and postcard both in MINT condition.
All of the above are inside a UK manufactured box which has the marriage certificate pasted inside the lid. These boxes were not numbered like the US versions. The box is in VG condition as all 4 corners have come apart and there is some water damage to the front.
