CONOR OBERST "Here's To Special Treatment" CASSETTE
1994 Sing, Eunuchs!
Up for grabs is an ORIGINAL early Conor Oberst cassette - pre-Bright Eyes - circa 1994.
Rest assured this is an original and NOT a copy. This was purchased from a local record store owner who purchased them directly from Sing, Eunuchs and has been verified as an original by Chris Deden of Sing, Eunuchs and also by members of Beep Beep and the Faint when compared to their original copies.
A bit of history on the cassette:
"Sing Eunuchs had the tapes manufactured locally. They were never home duplicated so if you have a copy on a store bought cassette, you have a counterfit. Each original cassette has the number "741 60" stamped on the top of the cassette casing, followed by either the number "7" or the number "24". These numbers can be found on every original copy. The covers and paper labels are the ONLY thing that was handmade on an original copy, which were applied by the label when they got the tapes back from the manufacturer."
These are extremely rare as very small numbers of these cassettes were made or still exhist.
The tape appears to be in New condition as there are no visible markings on either side of the labels showing use.
