This album has everything thrash metal should have: speed, aggression, slow heavy parts, atmospheric parts, tight drumming and fast but melodic solos. Add to that good songwriting and clear production (all the instruments are perfectly audible, especially the bass, which always gives this kind of music the extra oomph it needs), and you have a perfect thrash metal album. Coroner somehow manage to marry the complexity of Voivod with the accessibility of Metallica. I would say that this puts No More Color up there with Metallica's first three albums and Rust in Peace, and above ...And Justice for All or almost anything else released by the "big four". And Coroner have 5 more albums on that level, it's just that I like this one even a little bit more.
