killing rasta instrumentals straight from Count Ossie's camp...a rare Winston Blake-production from around 1972, original press...recorded at New Dimension Studios...matrix is WB7944...while the A-side presents what we may easily recognize as sounds from Bozrah - composer Mr. IM Brooks - the B-side "Samia" has a much more Brazilian feel, just as the Fundeh met the "Girl From Ipanema"...fusion at its best...you gotta scroll down to listen to these chunes...get an impression...

WAX condition: vg+ / vg+, both sides look great, clean and shiny, plays with only very light crackle but has a certain amount of surface noise (hiss) from the pressing, not too bad!...scroll down to have a listen!

LABEL condition: A-side perfectly perfect / B-side near perfect, shows a small spot - watch the scan, please!

Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).

And that’s my Vinyl Grading Scale:

EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...)

VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...)

G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)

P (= just a collection-filler for the hard-edged + hardest-boiled collectors + selectors + all the rudegals out there - P stands for "poor", yunno...)
