Description

Item for auction is the rare white label promotional album for the Creedence Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty "Creedence Clearwater Revival" album on Fantasy Records, this is the first Creedence album on Fantasy Records. This is part of a large Creedence Clearwater Revival-John Fogerty collection that I will be selling off. The promotional album has Not For Sale on the label and F-2696 stamped into the trail-off in the vinyl. Songs on the album are "Ninety-Nine And A Half(Won't Do), "Get Down Woman", "Porterville", "Gloomy", "Walk On Water", "I Put A Spell On You", "The Working Man" and "Suzie Q". Album is in VG++ condition, there are some light marks on the vinyl, they're not scuff marks or scratches, you have to turn the record a certain way to see them, these might have been done when the record was pressed or maybe the vinyl has to cleaned real good. Other than that, the record looks brand new, one side of the label has a black mark between songs 3 and 4. Cover is in VG+ condition with no splits, there are some light creasing to the spine area, a small piece missing off the front cover, and extremely light ringwear to the cover, you have to turn the cover at an angle to barely see it. The back of the cover in the left upper corner is stamped "NOT FOR SALE-PROMOTION USE ONLY, I took a photo of it with no flash so it shows up better in the listing, cover is not discolored. Any questions about the record, please email me, I'll gladly answer any questions.
