WebVinyl.Com Presents!
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
"On The Right Track" Wally Jig Records RARE Private Underground Fan Club Live 1970 Double LP! No Reserve!
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - "On The Right Track - Stillscros B. Jungnash" Wally Jig Records WJ 70 from 1970(?). Super Hard To Find Original Private Underground Fan Club B00t release Double Vinyl Record by the legendary CSN&Y featuring David Crosby, Steve Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young! According to the cover, this album was recorded Live in Lakehurst, N.J. on 6/7/1970. Most sources say that in fact it is from The L.A. Forum June 28, 1970 instead. In either case a really good recording and pretty much a Live Greatest Hits package. I am also not sure if the album was actually realeased in 1970 as most sources seem to indicate. There is nothing in the package that says and, to me, the packaging looks much more like 1980's or '90's than a 1970's boot... Again, whatever, it's some great stuff!

In nice condition! The cover shows a little bit of basic ring and edge storage wear and some softening of the corners including light creasing in the upper right. Still very nice and would easily rate at least a strong VG and really I'd say much closer to VG+! Please note - any marks, streaks or blotches that you may see which are not mentioned in the write up (like those in the upper right corner of the cover) are scanner artifacts, not defects in the record cover... I will list any actual defects! The Vinyl is super nice appearing basically untouched! You may be able to spot a couple light sleeve scuffs if you look close (and have better eyes than me...) but, judging by the lack of any spindle trails on the labels and the overall pristine, glossy condition of the vinyl, I'd say it's quite possible that the record is unplayed or at most played a handful of time. Should easily rate Near Mint! The labels are also Near Mint.

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.

Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

One other caveat... As most of you looking at this will know, some of these old Private, Fan, Underground LPs don't have the greatest recording fidelity or pressing quality. Of course, some are really nice. In any case, I assume that if you bid that you understand this. I am not responsible for any potential disappointments in sound quality. Even more than usual, these are graded strictly on a visual basis.

I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over eleven years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
