Camel Lips Rare 1971 Bay Area High School Funk LP A very rare 1971 high school jazz-funk LP featuring several strong songs, a fresh drum break and a very young Jon Faddis on trumpet. Also, it's on red vinyl!
There are two strong jazz funk tracks here: the shuffling title track and "Charlie McCarthy Jr.", which sounds like Lou Donaldson's "Ode to Billie Joe" and has a similar break at the start. The disc appears to be unplayed. The inner sleeve is a little bit mashed but I was careful removing the disc.
The jacket is in strong shape with only minor storage wear and discoloration.
This LP is an original pressing. I do not sell reissues or bootlegs.
