Description
Excellent copy of the extremely rare early Capitol Full Dimensional Sound LP featuring Camilla Wicks performing Sibelius’ “Concerto In D Minor For Violin and Orchestra” (Capitol P-8175) with The Symphony Orchestra Of Radio Stockholm, Sixten Ehrling, Director.
The LP retains most of the original gloss and the performance is crisp and clear. There are a few superficial marks and sleeve scuffs and you should expect some surface noise but it is not at all overwhelming. There is one mark on side one I was concerned about but it played through and was audible for just one revolution. The cover is in excellent condition with just some light wear noted on the top seam and a small tear on the back cover that does not interfere with the graphics or liner notes.
This is part of a small collection of rare violin and cello LPs I recently acquired. Keep an eye on my auctions in the next week or so for additional listings.
NO reserve and a very reasonable $24.99 minimum bid. I ship worldwide and will combine winning bids to save on postage. In the US, the winning bidder pays choice of media mail ($3.10) or priority shipping (based on ZIP code). Good luck!
