VERY LIMITED AND NOW SOLD OUT TROJAN RE-ISSUE - THIS RECORD IS THE NO. 43/250
Following the initial brace of releases on Trojan's new limited edition 7" vinyl range highlighting long lost treasures from the late sixties, the third title in the series explores new ground by featuring two overlooked Lee 'Scratch' Perry-produced gems from 1977.
Due for release in October, the release couples Candy McKenzie's superb reworking of 'Breakfast In Bed' (which until now has only seen issue on vinyl as an ultra rare Jamaican 12") with the inspired 'Ice Cream' - a previously unissued Perry original that illustrates the enigmatic producer at his most eccentric.
Mastered from the original Black Ark tapes, these newly discovered Lovers Rock gems are a must for all fans of the Upsetter's work as well as those who prefer their Reggae on the sweet and sultry side.
