Notes First in a 3-volume x 2-album set of the "Grow Fins" works on the 'Table Of The Elements' label. The first pressing consists of 3,000 copies, worldwide, being 'sold out' on advance of release. A 2nd pressing was issued July 2000. Limited Edition audiophile vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, with 24-page libretto. [BOOKLET IS INCLUDED IN THIS COPY] Sticker on the cover states that it "includes a poster too", but due to production problems this was included with "Grow Fins: Volume II" instead. All tracks previously unreleased.  (Some previously have had airplay & have been available as unofficial recordings)  Track B1 also known/titled as "Tupelo, Mississippi"  Track B2 also known/titled as "Evil (Is Going On)"  Track B3 written/first issued by Slim Green & The Cats From Fresno [with Al Simmon & Sydney Maiden].  Track D1 first recorded by Johnson [1929], but it has Traditional roots.  Track A4 is claimed [amicably] by Bermann as his lyrics. He was indeed present at Carolside. Tracks A1 to A3, A5 and A6 recorded at Wally Heider Studios, Hollywood, CA.  Track A4 recorded at Don's mother's house on Carolside, Lancaster, CA.  Tracks A7, and B1 to B3 recorded live at Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco.  Track B4 recorded at Gold Star Studios, Los Angeles, CA.  Tracks B5 to B7 recorded at Original Sound Studios, Los Angeles, CA.  Tracks C1 and C2 recorded live at MIDEM Pop Festival, Cannes Beach, France.  Tracks C3, D1 and D2 recorded live at Frank Freeman's Dance Studio, Kidderminster, UK.  Track D3 believed recorded at Allegro Sound Studios, Los Angeles, CA.

Booklet is in mint condition Vinyl is in excellent condition (rarely, if ever played) Gatefold Sleeve CONDITION = excellent, outer plastic bag with sticker is as creased/wrinkled as a 13 year old bag might be. Sticker is mint though.
