Description
After a few months since my last auctions I am back with a few more offerings, some rare and some not so rare. If you have been searching for a nice complete original pressing of Captain Beefheart's first LP Safe As Milk, look no further, this one's a beauty. This US stereo copy (Buddah BDS 5001) appears like it was manufactured yesterday. The jacket has absolutely zero wear front or rear, there are no splits, stains, writing or even the slightest bit of age discoloration. It would be perfect except for the fact the front cover slick was pasted on crooked (spine print is on front cover, see photo) and there is a tiny wrinkle on the front bottom right corner. Other than that, you would swear it was just opened. Moving to the disc, it is flawless. The labels are perfect without any spindle marks and the vinyl is stunning. Full gloss without a single mark, not even the faintest of hairlines. It appears completely unplayed. The custom inner sleeve is as nice as you will find, no age discoloration, no folds or creasing and just a one inch split on one side edge. The very difficult sticker is as new. As if this package isn't hard enough to find, to find one in this kind of condition is truly rare. I have set a very fair reserve on this LP and I guarantee it to be 100% in the condition I have stated, it is that nice. Winning bidder will be very happy.
