RARE edition - 1985 
I'm sorry, but I have no more information about this album.  On the back cover it says that was recorded at the musicorde studios in Lisbon Portugal. August 1985.
It Looks like a promotion album By carlos p mendes (I believe a musician from Cape Verde), since it includes a text where the author warns "all the friends, that this record is for sale by the address: 129 mineral spring ave. Pawtucket rhode island - usa." 
Also Looks like a first edition from the record label  CPM with number C.P.M 01 \ 1985
Musically it varies between merengue, samba, coladera, bolero and morna
Cover in excellent conditions (signature with dedication on back cover - see photo 4) cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split 
Record in excellent + conditions  Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences.
