Description

This is Blue Note Records BLP 4260, Cecil Taylor Conquistador, a blue and white Liberty labeled original mono (microgroove) issue, provided only as a special pressing to radio stations. All other issues are stereo. The record is in near mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The cover has light ring wear but is otherwise excellent and intact  The labels are excellent showing no spindle marks. The record has been  cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.  A superb, collectors grade copy of this extremely rare issue.
