Celia Mancini’s Mothertrucker- Steel Henge 10” LATHE CUT EP (Root Don Lonie For Cash)
Celia Mancini [aka Celia Pavlova] was co-front person with Chris Heazlewood in the Flying Nun band King Loser (her vocal on Morning Dew was one of the many things that made King Loser one of the great underappreciated Flying Nun bands) and earlier fronted the NZ all woman garage band The Stepford 5 (who did a cool split with Teengenerate). She also rocked the organ with Brother Love And His Far Out Space Nuts on the New World Of Sound album "Every Garden Grows One".Celia's prior solo work was a 7", "Kiasu", on Flying Nun.
This blink and you missed it 10" LATHE CUT EP features Ms. Mancini with her more recent band Mothertrucker (this actually dates back to the late 90's but was not released until the mid to late 00's).
10" is MINT- (I consider all new lathe discs as mint- because the nature of lathe discs is that some surface noise will be present, this is normal to the process of making the discs)/Cover is MINT.

King Loser defied pigeonholing during their illustrious and colorful career. From surf rock instrumentals to psychedelic rock, the indie band's wildly dynamic sound ran the gamut. Guitarist Chris Heazlewood and keyboardist/bassist Celia Mancini led the New Zealand group, as guitarist Sean O'Reilly and the drummer known only as Tribal Thunder rounded out the quartet. Their albums on Flying Nun Records showcased a dizzying mix of sounds and beats.
Starting with 1995's Sonic Super Free Hi-Fi on Turbulence Records (later re-released by Flying Nun), the band called on New Zealand luminaries like Peter Jefferies to round out their sound. You Cannot Kill What Does Not Live was released in early 1996, and with the help of American college radio, 1997's Caul of the Outlaw found the band new fans who embraced the album's forward-thinking and irregular sound. Both efforts were released on Flying Nun, a label that staunchly supported the band's colorful sound.
