You are bidding on an LP.  Sun And The Moon, The – The Sun And The Moon, excellent condition cover and near mint vinyl (see notes below).  The item will be well packaged in a record mailer with 2 stiffeners (the vinyl removed and placed in a white paper sleeve to prevent seam splits) and sent immediately upon payment.  First Class postage in the UK, 'Standard International' to other destinations (see below).  I have tried to be as honest as I can about its condition but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

ABOUT THE CHAMELEONS LP'S/SINGLES:
All of the The Chameleons LP's/singles come from the same collection.  Apart from a few minor blemishes on the covers most of the vinyl and sleeves are near mint unless otherwise specified.  The playback on most of these records is 'stunning' with hardly any surface noise apart from the odd very light crackle in places.  The vinyl has been very well kept and treated with respect.  If you are thinking of upgrading, completing or just enjoying some The Chameleons for the first time, this vinyl could be for you!

This is The Sun And The Moon 'The Sun And The Moon' German LP on the Geffen label from 1988.  The LP comes with a printed lyric inner sleeve.  The cover is still in excellent condition with some light creasing and scuffing.  The labels are in excellent condition with hardly any sign of spindle marks.  The vinyl has 1st press matrix numbers (see below).  The vinyl looks near mint, really bright, clean and virtually unmarked.  Playback is superb with virtually no surface noise except some very light crackle in places.  This is really nice well looked after vinyl.

The album was recorded in 1987 just after John and I left The Chameleons. It was simply a way for me to get back to the basics of songwriting without the hassles and hangups that had haunted me throughout the final year in The Chameleons. The band also featured Andy Clegg on guitar, who had been working with The Chameleons on their live sets as fill-in keyboard player; and Andy whitaker, also on guitar, from the band 'Music For Aborgines'

The life span of the band was short. Disillusionment with Geffen Records led to me leaving the label at my own request, something that didn't go down too well with the others. An EP 'alive; not dead' followed on my own label 'Glass Pyramid' but although I loved the music we had made together I felt that the band's reluctance to move forward and forge a sound of our own, rather than continue in the form of The Chameleons, was a hinderance and so in 1988 I decided to quit the band. The band continued for a while as 'Weaveworld' making one vinyl EP before pettering out.

Both sides have been played on a Rega RP1 turntable with an Ortofon OM5E cartridge (tracking weight: 1.5g - 2.0g) and listened to on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones.

In general the vinyl is in near mint condition.  It looks very clean, bright and virtually unmarked.  Playback is superb with virtually no surface noise except some very light crackle in places.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.
