Charles Mingus - "Mingus Ah Um" Vinyl Record Album CS 8171

Item Details

- Charles Mingus - Mingus Ah Um ALbum, released in October, 1959. Columbia Records # CS 8171. Album is in real good condition.

- The cover artwork was done by S. Neil J. Fujita.   

- Runoff number on side A is XSM47458 - 1D", on side B is "XSM47459 - 1K".  

Album Cover:

VG, Minor crease lines along the top left corner area on "Mingus" and "Columbia" on the top right side. Minor bending on the bottom right corner. The cover when lying flat has a curving at the opening. On the back is a horizontal red line, and a few light tan spots near the top right corner. Otherwise in real good condition with no tears or rips.   

Album Sleeve:

G, Clear plastic with crease lines, a few small minor folds.  

Record:

VG+ Album sounds clean, there are some light marks scratches on the vinyl but does not affect play at all. The samples tested played fine. Side B does have some light crackles on it, but may need a proper cleaning.
