CHARLES MINGUS - MY FAVORITE QUINTET, Charles Mingus JWS 009, original release.
This record was originally sold via mail order by Charles Mingus, and was later released on Fantasy. On this 1965 recording, the musicians are Lonnie Hillyer (trumpet), Charles McPherson (alto sax), Jaki Byard (piano), Charles Mingus (bass), Danny Richmond (drums).
The tunes are So Long Eric, Medley: She's Funny That Way / Embraceable You / I Can't Get Started / Ghost of a Chance / Old Portrait / Cocktails For Two.
Condition of record is E, one long light scuff on side two, no scratches, no spindle marks. Jacket shows some overall wear, tape repairs at top and bottom right corners, name written on back.

F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.

Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on the day before will be shipped on those days.
