Description

Original (mono) pressing of Charles Mingus' "My Favorite Quintet" on his own short-lived label (only four records were produced) Charles Mingus JWS 009.  The record appears to be virtually new, with a high luster and a nearly flawless surface.  The cover is also in beautiful condition: clean – front and back  - with sharp corners and intact seams throughout; the only evident wear consists of 1" cracking of the paper along the top seam, near the spine.

Personnel includes Charles McPherson, Lonnie Hillyer and Jaki Byard.
