Description

Dark red label with silver text deep groove. 4 tracks with Charlie Parker, alto sax. Parker is referred to as "Charlie Chan" on the record and the jacket.  Also included in this All Star group is Dizzy Gillespie, trumpet, Bud Powell, piano; Max Roach,drums; Charlie Mingus, bass.  Recorded "live" in Canada.  The record is original but the "new" appearance of the jacket may indicate a fine reproduction. 3 tunes with the tune "Salt Peanuts" on both sided A continuing on Side B.

Cover:  Good+  5"split on the top edge; 3" split on the bottom edge. Both at the insert edge.  2 small white spots near the insert edge and the opposite edge on the back cover.  There are 1 or 2 very small "bubbles" just below the cover paper near the edge and corner of the front cover.

Record:   Good   Visually shows light wear with several surface rub marks on both sides. There are some irregular light clicks and groove noise  most audible on the first 1/2 of Side A.The noise is light but consistent, with intervals of slightly more and slightly less noise and a few more audible clicks.  Side B has some light background noise and 4 or 5 clicks on the first 1 or 2 revolutions.
This noise is in the background and continues into Track 2.  There are 4 or 5 light clicks at the beginning of the track. In general the noise is minor, slightly more audible on Side B.  The music is clearly audible. Audibly checked.
