Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1960
Notes: Blue label first pressing. Mid-career single by James, who is certainly one of my favorite bluesmen, and one of his best. Just incredible slide guitar work and vocals on Sun is Shining. The b-side here is no slouch either, more uptempo, but still a great track.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just a couple of very feint marks. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears or stickers, just a bit of very light scuffing. This is a really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
