Description

From I think the 1960s on the BBC's Coded Music Scheme label comes this stunning LP by Stan Freeman and his Jazz Quartet and Chet Atkins with the Anita Kerr Singers (CM 192). These recordings were originally radio transcription broadcasts on the US SESAC label. 10 tracks by Stan Freeman and his Jazz Quartet and 10 by Chet Atkins with the Anita Kerr Singers, 'Fascinating Melody, Don't Tease My Heart, August Moon, Head Over Hills, Delightful Interlude, I Won't Cry Anymore, A Great Love, I Must Be Losing My Heart, The Red Leaves Of Autumn and When It's Cherry Blosom Time'. This LP was never commercially available and was only pressed in tiny numbers, probably no more than 100, for the exclusive use of BBC Radio Stations. Still in its original BBC sleeve. Possibly the rarest Chet Atkins LP. Record in VG condition with clean labels and a nice sheen. Very difficult to find now. Please see my other SESAC/BBC Coded Music LPs.
