Chopin: The Twenty Four Preludes- Alfred Cortot

Victor Musical Masterpiece Set M 20 (4-12" Victrola

scrolls 6715//8 in original dark red cloth buckram album.

Extremely quiet surfaces with curved type : "RCA Victor

Com[any, Inc/ at bottom of label with thin gold line.

Surfaces are just pre"z" and very quiet. Cortot's late

20s brilliant virtuoso traversal of Chopin's showpieces.

This is Cortot's first, late 1920s recording. Not to be

confused with his tamer mid 30s set  M 282 of 1934. Notes  Mint Condition

From the private collection of R. Peter Munves, who was in the record business as well as an avid collector for over 50 years and has decided to part with his beloved collection. All albums are from the late 20’s to early 40’s, and many are original, 1st editions containing pristine pressings from the golden age of 78’s. This collection consists of a nearly complete run of RCA Victor Musical Masterpiece Albums and Columbia Masterworks Album Sets. Our listings are drawn from this extensive collection.
