I am listing 16 records tonight. They are all from the same estate and I do not believe they have been offered for sale or auction before. I am listing records that are all hopefully interesting to audiophiles and lovers of classical music, I could not find a few online so some may be rare. I have done my best to describe them and have spent the last three days preparing the auctions. I have not cleaned any of them so they may need a gentle dust off before playing. I have examined each wearing gloves and under bright light - when I had to I would play and listen to either a whole album or parts with a clean needle. I have included many images of each lot but if you have any questions or requests please just let me know. I will do what I can on my end to answer any questions. I can combine to some extent with shipping but I will want to pack them well. I understand that with records condition is everything so I will do everything I can to assure that they arrive as they are now. I will be able to send them out three to four days after the auctions end. If I can I will send them sooner but most likely it will be 4 days after. Album Title - Chopin Les Sylphides Delibes La Source Peter Maag conducting The Paris Conservatoire Orchestra Maker and id - Decca Stereophonic / The Decca Record Company Limited London England / SXL 2044 (SXL2044) Matrix #'s - zal-3803-1e side 2 - zal-3804-1e Cover Condition - Shiny, bright and clean with 2 1/4 inch closed tear at right side below the Decca logo with very light crease above. Edge tips (at just extreme tips) have rubbing. Bottom right corner has wear at corner edge and just to the left of that corner small paper scuff. Rear cover looks bright and clean - small original square price tag at upper right, very small and light damp stain at far left edge about 2/3 down. Inner Sleeve - glassine sleeve which may not be original. Record Condition - side 1 - a few light lines and signs of handling but sounds clean with just a little surface noise and a few pops which may just be dust. Towards the end of side 1 there is a dime sized dull mark but it does not seem to affect grooves. side 2 same as side 1 but a little sharper. About midway through 2nd side one thin line causing a series of ticks for several seconds. Absolutely no skips or jumps. I believe this record would be graded as Very Good to Very Good plus. notes - Cover notes written by Michael Williamson.
