Description
Up for your bidding pleasure is a Chuck Wayne 10" Jazz LP Record Album Vinyl. Progressive Records PLP 3003. c.1953. This Chuck Wayne jazz record is in very good condition (see attached photos). Chuck Wayne's guitar is the foreground instrument in this jazz recording. The record has only the very slightest visual/optical marks. However, despite the record's near-mint appearance, there is surface noise throughout the entire album. The record and sleeve have a combined weight of 8.4oz. Of course I'll ship USPS Media Mail to save you money unless instructed to do otherwise. So buy it, listen to it, or simply collect it, but just don't miss out on it. I use the Jerry Osborn's Rockin' Records grading system: M, NM, VG+, VG, G+, and G. I tend to grade pretty hard, but if you disagree with me, do not hesitate to return the record for a full refund.
- ARTIST: Chuck Wayne
- FORMAT: 10" 33-1/3rpm LP
- TITLE: Chuck Wayne Quintet
- LABEL: Progressive Records
- NUMBER: PLP 3003
- MONO/STEREO: Monophonic
- COVER GRADE/DESCRIPTION: VG/There is an upper left-hand corner bump and a 1/2" entrance tear in the middle of the front cover that also has very light scuffing.
- RECORD GRADE DESCRIPTION: VG/The record has virtually no optical surface marks or superficial scratches. However, there is significant surface noise throughout the album that may diminish with a professional cleaning. It sounds like the old 78s. In spite of the noise, there is some excellent jazz being played. I do not listen to any records that I sell with a $50,000 stereo system. If you would like a CD-type experience, then do not buy this record. If you would like to hear jazz music as it was played 60 years ago, on a recording medium from that time, then this record may be for you.
- ADDITIONAL: Chuck Wayne guitar, Brew Moore tenor sax, Zoot Sims tenor sax, George Duvivier bass, Harvey Leonard piano, and Ed Shaughnessy drums.
Add this Chuck Wayne 10" Jazz LP Record Album Vinyl. Progressive Records PLP 3003. c.1953 to your fabulous album/record collection before someone else adds it to theirs.
