Description
You are bidding on a RARE 1975 LP by Clannad. The LP is on the Wavin label, with the same tracks as Clannad 2, but manufactured by Gael Linn especially for Wavin, so the record has the Gael Linn catalogue number scratched in the run off (GEF 041). The run off also has A1/B1.
This is an Irish pressing released by Wavin Pipes Ltd, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, Ireland, who are plastics manufacturers. The LP was released for issue to their customers as a Christmas present. The front and back of the sleeve has traditional scenes from Ireland, with the inside cover showing a photo of the band Clannad and track listing. The inside cover also has a photo and details of the Wavin plant. The LP has never been played, so is in mint condition. A relative of mine worked in the Wavin plant and got a copy of 3 different Wavin Irish records back in the 1970s, Clannad being one of them. I am also listing the other 2 Wavin records, in case you are interested (various artists).
This is a very rare and collectible record.
