Classic/ Pop Rock LP Lot: Led Zeppelin/ Elton John/ Pink Floyd/ Eagles..G to VG-
Of course, at these grades, there’s going to be surface noise. At the same time, I try my best never to list anything that is unlistenable or where the surface noise totally overwhelms the music. Nothing here is really bad. These have minor to moderate scratching and play with varying degrees of low to upper mid level surface noise.
I spot tested each one by testing 20-30 seconds of each track to ensure consistent sound quality.
Three that I did Play Test fully..
Elton John: Plays mostly clean at VG level, but the beginning of 1st verse of “Your Song” has a couple skips.
Pink Floyd: Looks & Plays solid at VG, but there is a bad spot at the end of “Wish you were here” which causes several skips..Needle advances and doesn’t get stuck repeating, but this part of song does not sound good
Led Zeppelin: Would have graded VG+ as it looks & plays very clean. Has a moderate warp, which I worked on and made much better, but I would still considerate it moderate. I’ve listened hard to this to see if this warp causes any timing issues. All I can really say is that it may on a few tracks, but if so, was subtle enough that I couldn’t really decide on my final answer. Overall, plays very solid
These LP’s are visibly graded unless otherwise stated. I always try to grade accurately, but with 1000’s of records mistakes can sometimes (though not at all often) be made. I will always allow free returns and guarantee these 100%.
