Bethlehem BCP-69. Deep Groove. Original issue from Bethlehem’s “deluxe series”. Stamped on the back cover is “Collectors Item – Discontinued and unavailable” This was done before I bought it about 35 years ago.

Faults:

Cover: Very light ring wear, more visible on back. Oh, and the stamp. And a price tag.

LP: Numerous small scratches that appear audible to me.

VISUAL VINYL GRADE:  VG

M- = Mint Minus or NM = Near Mint:  Near perfect but played record

EX+ = Close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don’t affect play.  (Just a step down from M- or NM.)

EX = A superior copy with light signs of use or slight wear that doesn’t affect play.

VG+ = A used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.

VG = Significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.  VG items are great to add to the collection until a superior one becomes available. 

G = In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records.  (You purchase knowing that the item has probably not received adequate care or treatment.) 

COVER GRADE:  EX

M- = Mint Minus or NM = Near Mint:  Near perfect.

EX+ = No obvious wear, handled with care.

EX = Some minor signs of wear / ring rub / surface scuffs. No bends, tears or writing.

VG+ = May show signs of light wear / ring rub / surface scuffs / slight corner bumping.

VG = Cover shows some wear / may have writing / ring rub and scuffs obvious / minor tears

G = In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up covers.  (You purchase knowing that the item has probably not received adequate care or treatment) 

NOTE:  A cover with a cutout mark (e.g., drill hole, punch hole, cut corner, sawmark, back-cover stamp, etc.)  can be assigned to any condition grade. I do note / clearly state the presence of cutout marks in the item listing.

Note on grading:

I just sold my stereo, which is why I’m selling my lps. If I’d been smarter, I would have sold my stereo last and had the chance to play my lps one last time, as well as assess the quality of play. All vinyl grading is visual. If you receive an album that has major playing issues despite a high grade, we’ll work it out. (Note: It’s like zero degrees these days, and therefore extremely dry and staticky. Pulling an lp out of it’s sleeve in these conditions makes it a POWERFUL dust magnet, so PLEASE remove dust from these LPs before spinning. Thanks.)

I combine shipping on all my auctions whenever possible. It only depends on how much I can cram into a box. I can typically fit up to 5 albums in the mailer, but gate-fold covers and double albums fill up the box quick.
